(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Community Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is just weeks from beginning. Open to ages 0-18, the program rewards youths for reading books, attending programs and sharing the news.
This annual program runs June 4-Aug. 4 at the MCPL. For more details on programs, prizes, and pajamas, visit the Summer Reading 2012 website at goo.gl/iW8Od.
* Teenagers who love crafts, technology and books are invited to become library volunteers. The MCPL engages teens in social, job-transferable skills such as video creation, decorating and book performance. Children ages 8-11 may volunteer with a parent/guardian present. Youth ages 12-18 may volunteer with parental permission. Call the library for more details at 849-2412 or stop in to pick up an application.
