(NORMAN) - Family and friends are invited to bring their lawn chairs as the Norman Station Conservation Club presents the best of Indiana bluegrass during its annual outdoor Spring Bluegrass Festival Friday and Saturday.
Thirteen Bluegrass and gospel bands will perform from 4-9 p.m. on Friday and from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Church service with David Fisher begins at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
Concessions will be available from the kitchen.
Campsites are available on the club's 3½-acre lake and can be reserved by calling Ron Sage at (812) 869-0850. Payment may be sent to the club at P.O. Box 27, Norman, IN 47264.
The club is in northwest Jackson County, 41⁄2 miles north of U.S. 50 from the Leesville/Fort Ritner turn-off (Norman Road or 1250 West). Continue one-tenth mile east on 450 North; or three-fourths of a mile south of Ind. 58 at Norman Station stop sign, then 1⁄10 mile east on 450 North. Watch for signs.
