(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Police Department has a new police car, a 2013 Ford Police Interceptor sedan.
The completely new design features all-wheel drive and V-6 power for improved fuel mileage.
Chief Roy McFarland says the all-wheel drive feature will be helpful during bad weather and the improved fuel economy will be a big asset to the department's fuel bill.
HD Graphix, of Orleans, applied the graphics to the car and Electronic Communication Systems, of Bloomington installed the vehicle lighting, car video camera and radio systems.
