(MITCHELL) - Mitchell resident Perry Reynolds has a photo of the person who allegedly stole his grandchild’s scooter earlier this month and is asked for the public’s help in finding the thieves.
Reynolds, heads up Mitchell's neighborhood watch program and developed the program after being a victim in late December. Because of that theft, he installed security cameras at his home in the 300 block of West Warren Streets.
The camera photographed a young man and girl snooping around his Volkswagen Beetle parked in front of the house. The couple is pictured on the front porch, where the scooter was parked, taking it and walking away.
The video has been turned over to the Mitchell Police Department. Reynolds is hoping making the photo public will led to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Mitchell Police Department or Reynolds at 797-8913.
