(BEDFORD) - On Wednesday, the Bedford Police Department received several reports items stolen from vehicles.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley the vehicles were parks in the 1300, 1400 and 1600 block of 17th Street, the 1300 block of 19th Street, the 1600 block of N Street, and in the 1700 block of 4th Street and in the 1300 block of Oak Manor.
Thieves took change, a cell phone and other items. The incidents are under investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police department.
Parsley reminds motorist to lock their doors and not to keep valuables in their vehicles or to lock their belongings in the trunk out of view.
