(BEDFORD) - Three people were injured after a crash on Breckenridge Road Saturday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 60-year-old Patrica M. Walls, of Bedford, was traveling north on Breckenridge Road and was attempting to turn into the Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department lot, when she pulled her 2006 GMC Envoy into the path of a U.S. Postal Service truck driven by 30-year-old Shawn D. Brock, of Williams.
Police say Brock tried to avoid the collision, but was unable to.
Walls told police she was going to attend a party at the fire station and was looking into the parking lot to find a parking space and didn't notice the mail truck and pulled in front of it.
Walls complained of neck pain and her grandson, who was a passenger, suffered a cut on his leg from the shattered front window on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Brock complained of wrist pain.
All three were treated at the scene and did not go to the hospital at the time of the crash.
