(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police arrested two men after they tried to steal a television from Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart Loss Prevention contacted the Washington Police around 7 p.m. Tuesday, saying that two males were pushing a flat screen TV out of the store, and when they were spotted, they took off running.
Witnesses were able to give out descriptions of the two men. One suspect was seen running across 57 from the Wal-Mart plaza to the Chuckles convenience store. He was later identified as a 17 year old male who police determined was involved in the theft and was taken into custody.
The other suspect was identified as 37-year-old Troy Eugene Kemp. He is charged with theft and possession of a schedule III controlled substance, he was also discovered to be wanted on a warrant out of Lake County Superior Court.
