(SEYMOUR) - Two Seymour residents riding a mo-ped sustained injuries in a wreck last week at Shields Park.
According to Sey¬mour Lt. Jack Hauer's report, 40-year-old Mary F. Gra¬ham, suffered abrasions to her head after the mo¬ped she was driving was struck by a 1995 Dodge Dakota driven by 51-year-old Lisa D. Henley. The wreck happened in the 600 block of North Broadway Street.
A passenger riding on Graham's 2005 Yamaha mo-ped, 11-year-old Patrick A. Gra¬ham, suffered a possible leg fracture and was taken to Schneck Medical.
Henley told police she had been parked in the 600 block of North Broadway Street, and that the wreck occurred as she was backing out of a parking space and failed to see Graham's mo- ped as she drove north on Broadway Street.
Graham told police she was unable to stop or avoid hitting Hen¬ley's vehicle and the impact threw both Gra¬hams off the mo-ped. Police say no citations were issued after the wreck.
