(WASHINGTON) - The Washington Fire Department was called to fight two fires within a half-hour, Monday afternoon.
At 3:34 p.m. a 911 caller reported a truck had exploded in the Jamestown Square Apartment complex.
When Washington firefighters arrived they found a full sized truck driven by Dustin Lemon, fully engulfed in flames.
The burning truck was located near several other vehicles and the apartment buildings. While firefighters were dealing with the truck fire, they received a report of a field fire on Oak Grove Road.
One of the trucks on the scene of the truck fire went to the Oak Grove Road area. Due to the nature of the fire, the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department was requested to bring their grass rigger to the field fire.
Both fires were extinguished and all units were back on station by 4:43 p.m.
