(BEDFORD) - The kennels are full at the White River Humane Society, and they are asking for the public’s help.
WRHS sent out a message on Facebook asking for the community's help in replenishing dog and puppy food, cat litter and cleaning supplies.
"We are in desperate need of dog food, canned dog food, cat litter, kitten food and dish soap, we are totally out," the message reads. "We have plenty of adult cat food. We are going to have to make a trip to Walmart shortly to pick up some to get us through the next few days. If anyone could donate any of these items it would be greatly appreciated, with 60 dogs and 75 cats supplies are running out fast."
Donations can be dropped off at the shelter on Pumphouse Road. Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre on Oolitic Road is a drop-off point and they will deliver donations to the shelter.
