(MITCHELL) - Put on your dancing shoes and kick back and enjoy a night out to benefit those affected by the March 2 tornadoes in Southern Indiana.
The Mitchell Presbyterian Church, on ind. 60 East, will have a community dance from 6-9 p.m. on June 22 for people of all ages.
"Dancing Up a Storm Relief" will take place in the fellowship hall, adjacent to the church.
Music will be provided by Joe Byrum, a local disc jockey and member of the church, and will be geared toward all tastes, playing tunes from the 1950s to the present.
There is no entry fee for the dance, but attendees are asked to make a storm relief donation at the door. All proceeds will go to help recovery efforts in the areas affected by the March 2 tornadoes.
Refreshments will be served, and everyone is encouraged to attend the community dance. For more information, call the Mitchell Presbyterian Church and leave a message.
