(COLUMBUS) - A Hope man and teenager were arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing $3,000 worth of steel from the Flambeau, Inc. plant on Middle Road in Columbus.
Police say, 23-year-old Kevin E. Hull and a 17-year-old boy took the steel around noon from the scrap yard.
Columbus Police spokesperson Lt. Matt Myers says plant employees alerted police about the theft that took place around noon.
They told police that two men in a pickup truck took the steel that was next to the building and left the area. They provided police with descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle.
