(WASHINGTON) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is announcing that on Tuesday, traffic patterns will change again on U.S. 50 east of Washington.
Motorists traveling westbound on U.S. 50 will be transitioned to the new permanent lanes of westbound U.S. 50.
This work is a part of the I-69 Section 2 corridor construction from the White River to just north of U.S. 50.
The contract was awarded to Walsh Construction, Inc. of LaPorte in February of 2011.
I-69 from I-64 in Gibson County to U.S. 231 in Greene County is scheduled to be open to traffic by the end of 2012.
