(BLOOMINGTON) - 34-year-old William Haltom of Gosport was arrested after he set fire to the door of Mathew Ferree.
According to Chief Deputy Michael Pershing, police went to the home in the 4600 block of Woodard Road after Ferree told police he was awaken by a loud noise and then discovered his front door on fire.
Monroe County deputies and detectives finished their investigation and determined Haltom had used an accelerant to state the blaze. He was arrested and charged with arson.
