Pekin Tornado Relief Effort In Need Of Supplies

(PEKIN) - As the families and volunteers in Pekin and surrounding areas continue recovery efforts after the March 2 tornadoes, they are finding that they are in need of additional supplies from the community.

Specifically, the needs are:

• 18 and 30 gallon plastic totes for storage
• General household cleaning supplies, such as dishwashing soap (automatic and liquid), laundry detergent, bath soap,
• New bath towels, kitchen towels and washcloths.

These supplies can be dropped off at the Pekin Town Hall during normal business hours. For more information, please call 967-3777.
