(BEDFORD) - On Saturday from 6-10 p.m., the 13th annual Safe Night will return to the Lawrence County Fairgrounds. It’s free and open to all ages.
The idea is to provide an evening of family friendly fun in an atmosphere that is free from drugs, alcohol and tobacco. The activities will vary from carnival games to stage performances to fireworks.
Free food also will be available, and people who attend will have chances to win a variety of prizes, including tickets to Holiday World.
Safe Night is sponsored by Hoosier Uplands, the Local Coordinating Council and hundreds of volunteers.
