(BEDFORD) - The boil order for Bedford and East Lawrence has been lifted.
Bedford and East Lawrence was placed under a boil order after a break in the 12-inch main caused no water service to some parts of the city and low water pressure in other areas.
Bedford City Utilities Director Misty Adams reported the break was reported Saturday at Fifth and K streets.
The boil order was a precautionary order and is standard procedure when repairing a water line break.
