(BEDFORD) - 26-year-old Brandon Harris was arrested Monday night after police were notified that he was texting and calling a woman who has a protective order against him.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says hen police arrived the woman told them that Harris was at a home in the 600 block of 15th Street, however the woman did not have any of the text messages that she could show police.
"This incident is still under investigation and other charges may be filed against Mr. Harris," Parsley says.
But Harris was wanted on a warrant for residential entry, intimidation, battery resulting in injury, invasion of privacy and possession of a synthetic drug.
"Those charges stem from a July 13th incident where Harris entered a home on Redman Road without permission and battered a female," Parsley says. "We submitted our investigation to the prosecutor's office and a warrant was issued."
