(BLOOMINGTON) - 36-year-old Scott Pollard, of Bloomington, was arrested Saturday afternoon on charges of child molesting after a 12-year-old girl reported the crime.
According to Sgt. Dana Cole the girl had went to spend the night with a friend Friday night.
The girl told police she was sleeping on the floor in Pollard's living room and Pollard, who is the father of the girl's friend, was sleeping on the couch.
The girl, who was sleeping on her stomach, says she woke to find Pollard touching her buttocks.
At first the girl ignored it, but then she told police it happened again so she rolled over.
But then, she alleges Pollard began rubbing his hands between her legs and under her clothes.
Pollard was arrested, but denies the allegations.
