Corn Field Tresspassing Nets Two in Daviess County Meth Bust

(WASHINGTON) - Two men were arrested after a Washington resident reported the men were trespassing on their property.

Shirley Waltz, called police at 2 p.m. Sunday after she found a pickup truck parked off the road near a corn field.

Officers from the Daviess County Sheriff's Department found the truck and began searching for the occupants.

During their search they found a meth lab in the field and two men.

Deputies and Indiana State Police were on the scene until 8:30 p.m.

Officers from the Washington Police Department arrested 48-year-old Ronald Osborn, of Vincennes and 45-year-old Charle Graham of Terre Haute.

They were charged with possession of drug precursors, conspiracy to manufacture meth, illegal storage or transportation of ammonia, and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. Osborn was also charged with possession of meth.

Both men are being held without bond in the Daviess County Security Center.
