(JOHNSON COUNTY) - Johnson County employees should be receiving a small raise this year, after three years of no wage increase.
The 2 percent proposed raise for the next fiscal year is being funded with money state accounting errors discovered earlier this year.
The county even with the extra money, still will have to make up an estimated $500,000 shortfall to balance the budget.
