(MITCHELL) - Mitchell police are investigating the possible passing of counterfeit money early Saturday morning.
The incident happened at the Clark gas station at the intersection of Ind. 37 and U.S. 60.
The clerk called police after a man entered the store and tried to use the fake money.
Anyone with information on the man or the incident is asked to call police.
