(EDINBURGH) - The death of a man found in his vehicle in Edinburgh is being investigated.
The "Daily Journal" reports friends of 24-year-old Brock Coleman found him in his vehicle near Full Gospel Church in Edinburgh about 6:45 a.m. Thursday.
The vehicle was parked on land owned by a nearby homeowner, whom Coleman knew. Johnson County Coroner Dave Lutz says Coleman had been living in his car.
The friends took Coleman out of his vehicle and laid him on the ground.
Lutz says he was pronounced dead when emergency workers arrived. He noted that investigators said the death might be an overdose because friends and family told police Coleman was intoxicated the night before and emergency workers had been called in the past on reports Coleman had overdosed. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Lutz says he will use the autopsy and lab tests to determine the cause of death.
