(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Police Department is investigating the theft of a guitar and amplifier from the 2000 block of East Vine Street.
Police were called about the theft at 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
James Burton told police that his neighbors told him they have seen people messing around his vehicle during the last few weeks.
Burton also told police he would check with local pawn shops to see if his guitar and amplifier was there.
Burton asked police to make extra patrols in the neighborhood.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Mitchell Police Department.
