(SEYMOUR) - Two Seymour men arrested during a search of a rural Jackson County home have been released from jail.
Jeff Browning, 29, and Bradley Wingler, 36, have not been charged after police said they found a meth lab during a search of the residence at 1502 W. County Road 300N near Seymour.
The Jackson County prosecutor's office had not received information from police to charge the men as of Thursday. The men were released from jail because formal charges were not filed within 48 hours of their arrest.
Browning was arrested on a prelimi¬nary charge of posses¬sion of paraphernalia. Wingler also was arrested on that charge and prelimi¬nary charges of pos¬session of meth and possession of an illegal drug lab.
The men could face formal charges after prosecutors review reports from police.
