(LYONS) - A Bloomfield woman was airlifted to IU Health Methodist Hospital Thursday night after a head-on collision on Ind. 67 in Greene County.
Regina Keller, 53, of Lyons, was traveling south on Ind. 67 when her vehicle crossed the center line at about 4:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Greene County Sheriff's Department.
Her black Nissan hit the green Chevrolet being driven by Janet Thompson, 38, of Bloomfield.
Both drivers were transported by ambulance to Greene County General Hospital, where Keller was treated for her injuries and released.
Thompson was later airlifted to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, according to police.
Police said they did not know why Keller's vehicle crossed the center line.
The crash took place near the intersection of Ind. 67 and County Road 700 West, just north of Lyons.
