(WASHINGTON) - The Washington Fire Department responded to a house fire at 105 S.E. 11th Street at 7:29 p.m. Sunday evening.
Washington Fire Chief Dave Rhoads said that smoke was coming from the attic when firefighters arrived. Flames appeared when firemen opened the roof area.
No injuries were reported and Chief Rhoads said there was minimum to moderated damage to the house, owned by Richard Haye.
All Washington Fire Department units were clear of the scene by 8:45 p.m.
S.E. 11th Street was closed between Axtell Avenue and the railroad tracks while firemen were fighting the blaze.
