(WORTHINGTON) - The Crane Federal Credit Union in Washington was robbed at approximately 9 a.m. Monday.
23-year-old Dustin Green, of Vincennes, was found in Greene County Monday night by Worthington Police and taken to the Daviess County Jail and charged with robbery.
Washington Police Chief Mike Healy says Green entered the Crane Federal Credit Union shortly after the business opened Monday, dressed in sunglasses, a dark hoodie adn jeans. He then gave the teller a note demanding money and got out with an undetermined amount of cash.
He reportedly fled on foot to a nearby grocery store and fled in a white 1995 or 1996 white Ford Explorer.
The case is still under investigation and police have not said if they recovered the money stolen from the credit union.
