(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after a domestic fight at the Rosemount Motel Friday.
Brandon Terry, 22, of Bedford, was charged with domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, the female victim suffered bruises.
"She attempted to call police several times and he would take the phone and hang it up before the call could connect," Parsley says. "He also pulled the phone line out of the wall."
Parsley says the woman was able to have another tenant at the motel call police.
However Terry, told police the woman was involved in the altercations.
"He reported that she had slapped him several times," Parsley says.
