(JUDAH) - A Bedford man was arrested Thursday night after he allegedly stole a baseball hat from Johnny’s Junction.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, an employee called police reporting a man, who was riding a 4-wheeler, entered the store and took the hat and then fled.
Employees provided a description of the man and the white and yellow 4-wheeler and told police he was fleeing south on Old Ind. 37.
Police were able to find 26-year-old Cory Kern riding the 4-wheeler a short distance from the store and stop him.
According to police, Kern admitted to taking the hat, with a Monster Energy Drink logo on it.
He was arrested and charged with theft.
