(BLOOMFIELD) - Bloomfield School District Superintendent Dan Sichting says any phone calls regarding advertisement space for the 2012-13 Bloomfield Junior/Senior High School yearbook are a scam.
"We haven't even started that process yet, and when we do that it's all face-to-face," Sichting said Tuesday morning.
Sabrina Westfall, of the Greene County Daily World, reports a local business, who has advertised with the yearbook in the past, contacted the school recently after they received a phone call requesting they purchase advertising space.
Sichting said the business was concerned about the phone call because they knew in past years the students had done all their advertising sales in person.
"As a result, any advertising solicitation being conducted via phone is a scam and Bloomfield businesses and residents should not purchase any advertising being solicited," Sichting said.
