(DAVIESS COUNTY) - Daviess Community Hospital has been awarded a grant to help uninsured women pay for mammogram screenings.
The Tri-State Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure has awarded Daviess Community Hospital the grant from funds raised during various 2011 Komen associated events.
Daviess Community Hospital's Pink Ribbon grant will allow the hospital to provide screening mammograms and education for up to twenty-five uninsured, low income patients needing services.
