(WASHINGTON) - A Daviess County woman was rescued by a good samaritan Thursday after she crashed her car.
19-year-old Ashley Allison, of Washington, was rescued by a good Samaritan Thursday after she crashed her car.
At 2:40-pm, Allison was driving east on Daviess County Road 100 South a quarter mile east of 1100 East.
She swerved to miss an animal and went of the south side and hit a ditch.
The 2002 Chrysler flipped at least once and Allison, who was wearing a seatbelt was ejected and thrown 15 feet from where the car landed in a corn field.
Sometime after, Amos Graber, of Cannelburg came by and saw debris in the road and stopped to move it. That is when he saw the car and went to check on it.
Seeing no one he started to walk away but then heard Allison moan.
Graber found her and pulled her from the area just before the car exploded.
Allison who suffered from internal injures was taken to Daviess Community Hospital.
