(BEDFORD) - Home Accents, a home decor shop at 9712 Ind. 37, will celebrate its recent opening with grand opening festivities Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
Owned by Melissa Graves, the store offers a wide variety of antiques, primitive products and modern home decor items. Consignment booths offer various products, including the Jewel Tea Co. line of dishes that is gaining in popularity among collectors.
"From a modern pub table to a vintage 1800s cabinet, we have all types of goodies for the home," Graves said.
The business is in the front portion of the former Old Windmill Buffet building near the U.S. 50 West junction, south of the White River. The shop formerly held Weeping Willows Antiques, but switched over in June.
The grand opening event will feature an antique tractor display beginning at 9 a.m. Door prizes will be given away every hour beginning at 10 a.m. with the grand prize being a $100 Visa card. Also, area churches will sell bakery items, and there will be pizza samples offered.
The store is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For more information, call Graves at 278-6669.
