(BLOOMINGTON) - A female Indiana University student reported she was raped between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 1:30 a.m. Saturday
IU Police Department Chief Keith Cash says the woman met with a male at a fraternity party and at some point the tow allegedly had non-consensual sex.
Police are not sure if the male was a member of the fraternity, and the location of the rape is currently unknown.
The IU Interfraternity council issued a statement Monday in response to the report saying they were displeased to hear about the sexual assault and they will support the IUPD's investigation.
The woman reported the alleged rape at 3:51 a.m. Saturday. According to police logs, the woman was at Foster Quad when she called police.
