(BLOOMINGTON) - An Indiana judge has ordered that a man who faked his death by jumping from a Kentucky bridge must return to prison for violating his probation from a 1990s murder conviction.
Wade Meisberger, 40, told a Monroe County judge that he was angry for not killing himself during what he called a suicide attempt from a Carrollton, Ky., bridge in June.
Crews searched the river for about 10 hours without finding Meisberger and he later posted Internet videos on YouTube.com showing he was alive. He was captured by police last month in Madison.
The judge said Meisberger blew the second chance he got in 2007 when he was released early from his sentence for killing a friend in Bloomington.
Meisberger claimed probation officers conspired to return him to prison.
