(MUSCATATUCK) - A Junior Birder program for children will be conducted at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center from 9 a. m. to noon Aug. 18.
The class will consist of hands- on learning activities about birds and will cover the use of binocuars and field guides, tips for identification and bird conservation.
The course is aimed at fourth- through six-grade students. Program materials are provided free of charge by Muscatatuck Wildlife Society.
Advance registration is required and may be made by calling 522-4352 or emailing Muscatatuck@fws.gov.
