That investigation began as state troopers received reports of a possible active methamphetamine lab in the 3400 block of Water Street in Vallonia.
Troopers went to the residence along with officers of Jackson County Sheriff's Department. Upon approaching the residence, officers reported they could smell strong odors associated with methamphetamine labs.
