(PEKIN) - A Pekin teen and adult were burned as they were burning trash Tuesday evening.
The 17-year-old was flown by air ambulance to a Louisville hospital.
The other victim was a 46-year-old man; he was not burned as severely.
Sheriff Claude Combs said the two were burning trash at a Gobbler Knob Road residence when there was an explosion, allegedly from an aerosol can.
Pierce-Polk firefighters and the Washington County Ambulance Service responded.
