(BEDFORD) - A 17-year-old Williams teen crashed a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado truck into the Captain D’s Seafood restaurant Monday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, when police arrived at the restaurant they found the truck had crashed into the west side of the building near the drive through window.
The boy told police he was not hurt and declined medical attention.
The teen told police he was driving through the parking lot and going too fast when his truck went through a puddle of water causing him to lose control of the truck and crash into the building.
The impact caused the truck to go partially into the building.
The teen was cited for speed to fast to avoid an accident and criminal recklessness with a vehicle.
