(WASHINGTON) - At 7 p.m. Thursday, Washington Police Department received a 911 call l from Tim Hensley stating he had just struck a boy on a skateboard at S.E. Second Street and East National Highway.
When officers arrived Hensley said the boy was southbound on his skateboard and had ran out in front of his car.
According to reports from a family member, thirteen year old Matt Rupple, suffered a broken femur in the accident.
Other details of the accident are pending the completion of a state report.
