(SPRINGVILLE) - Perry Volunteer Firefighters extinguished a brush fire after police received a 911 call early Sunday morning, reporting heavy smoke in the area of Springville.
When firefighters arrived they followed the smoke to a home next to Springville Elementary school.
There they found a brush pile next to the house that was smoldering producing lots of smoke.
Firefighter extinguished the fire.
