(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police are investigating break-in at Shawswick Middle School.
Police were notified Monday morning.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig, the criminals took money from the cafeteria and broke into the vending machines stealing money.
There was no visible sign of forced entry at the school and Craig believes the break-in happened sometime Sunday.
"We are still trying to determine how they got into the school." Craig says. "We found no visible signs of entry."
Detectives are reviewing video surveillance for possible leads to identify the suspects.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call LCPD at 275-3316.
