(UNDATED) - Purdue Extension Service reminds motorists and farm workers to be careful as harvest season gets underway.
Education Outreach Coordinator Mike Ferree said that from 2007 thru 2010, on average, 23 people were killed on Indiana farms.
Ferree said motorists need to be cautious and patient when traveling on county roads and farmers need to be wearing respirators with the discovery of Corn Mold for the current year harvest.
