Last updated on Wednesday, September 5, 2012

(PAOLI) - Four people were hurt and one vehicle overturned in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Ind. 37 and U.S. 150 (Main Street), just north of Dairyland, on Monday afternoon in Paoli.

23-year-old Charles Bough, of Paoli, was the driver of the vehicle that overturned.

According to a Paoli Police report, Bough suffered bruises to his head and a cut on his knee.

Others injured were: 53-year-old Joseph A. Rozzi, of Logansport, who was the driver of the second vehicle, he suffered bruises on his head. This two passengers 27-year-old Joseph L. Rozzi, of Fishers, complained of neck pain, and 50-year-old Gregory A. Binney, of Logansport, complained of back pain.

Police say Rozzi was driving a 2012 Honda Pilot east on U.S. 150 and had slowed or stopped for the traffic signal.

Bough also was eastbound, driving his 1997 Dodge Avenger, when he hit the back driver's side of the Rozzi vehicle, causing the Dodge to flip over on its top next to the Honda.

Bough told police he looked down for a second and that when he looked up he saw the Rozzi vehicle and swerved to miss it but was unable to.

Police say considering the degree of damage and the fact Bough's vehicle overturned, it was possible Bough was traveling "at a high rate of speed."
