(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell woman was injured after she stepped into the path of a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Mitchell Police report, 36-year-old Heidi Kromhof, of Mitchell, was driving north on Meridian Road when 41-year-old Raquel Rodriguez, who was crossing Meridian Road, stepped in front of Kromhof's 2007 Ford Focus.
Rodriguez complained of abdomen and hip pain and was taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital.
