(ORLEANS) - Orange County Republican officials are planning an opportunity for Orange County voters to meet the GOP slate of candidates on Tuesday at Unity Hall in Orleans, west of the Orleans Christian Church.
The event will begin at 6 p.m., with hot dogs, light snacks and refreshments served free of charge. A short program will take place at 7 p.m.
The following candidates (or a representative of their campaigns) will attend: gubernatorial candidate Mike Pence, lieutenant governor candidate Sue Ellspermann, 9th District Rep. Todd Young, U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock, Indiana District 73 Rep. Steve Davisson, Indiana District 74 candidate Lloyd Arnold, Attorney General Greg Zoeller and Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Bennett.
Local candidates invited to attend include Beth Jones for circuit court clerk, Donna Atchison for auditor, Sandy Hill for treasurer, Terry Nicholson for recorder, Aaron Kemple for coroner, Don Crockett for commissioner from District 2, Thomas A. Lamb for commissioner from District 3, and Greg Farlow, John F. Noblitt and Alan Waynick, all for county council at Large.
All candidates present will have a separate table and will welcome the opportunity to talk with voters and answer any questions.
