(ORANGE COUNTY) - School board races will take place in November in all three of Orange County’s school districts.
The list of candidates follows:
Orleans
Representing Orleans town: Three candidates are seeking the two available seats.
Candidates are incumbent Georgia Tetrick, incumbent Jerry Roach and Jonathan Stalker.
Representing Orangeville: Terry Whittfield, unopposed. Orleans school board members can serve only two consecutive terms, which means incumbent Glenda Lamb was ineligible to run again.
At-large: Two candidates are seeking one seat. Candidates are James Salkeld and Lincoln Tackett. Two-term at-large incumbent Barry Bishop was ineligible to run again because of term limits.
Paoli
Representing Paoli town: Five candidates are seeking the two available seats: Candidates are incumbent Chris Boyer, Buford DeWitt, Wayne Fugate, Rick Hooten and Gary Owens. Incumbent Chuck Kimble did not file for re-election.
Representing Paoli Township/Greenfield Township: Three candidates are seeking one seat. Candidates are incumbent Julie Hopper, Michael Sean Phelps and Sharon Tucker.
Representing Southeast Township/Stampers Creek Township: Incumbent James "Bill" McDonald, unopposed.
Springs Valley
Representing French Lick town: Three candidates are seeking the two available seats. Candidates are incumbent Anthony Galloway, Linda Carnes and Justin Wininger. Incumbent Eddie Kellams did not file for re-election.
Representing French Lick Township: Five candidates are seeking two available seats. Candidates are incumbent Michael Kevin Allstott, Christopher Burton, Ryan Carnes, Eugene Pinnick and Roger Purkhiser. Incumbent Todd Marshall did not file for re-election.
