(FAYETTEVILLE) - A Bedford teen was injured Sunday morning after she crashed her car into a tree.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, Jakayla Winninger, of Bedford, was traveling south on Fayetteville-Owensburg Road when she rounded a curve and lost control of her 2005 Pontica Sunfire on the wet road and crashed into a tree.
Winninger complained of body pain and was treated and released from a local hospital.
