(GUTHRIE) - Two teens were injured after the car they were in landed in a ditch Saturday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, Conner Asbher, 17, of Bedford was traveling north on Valley Mission Lane at around 90 to 100 miles per hour, when he lost control of the 2009 Chevrolet Colbalt and skidded about 176 feet before landed in a ditch.
Police say Asbher didn't not have permission to drive the car that belonged to Melissa Abner, of Church Camp Road. Abner call Indiana State Police and reported the vehicle had been stolen.
Asbher complained of neck pain.
His passenger Nichola Chitwood, 17, of Springville, hurt his wrist and had bruising to his chest.
Police say information has been sent to the Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office for review to see if charges will be filed against the teens.
Assisting at the scene were Marshall Volunteer Firefighters and IU Health Hospital ambulance crews.
